Taslima’s exit and and now re-entry both have political connotations. Now that Left is no more in ruling coalition they’ll not be able to stop Taslima from getting protection from centre. Good a writer in exile will be back to her most loved home away from home.
Similarly artist Hussein had to face brickbats coloured with politics.
I think creative people should not be targetted in any educated society...

I agree with Madhuri that allowing Taslima back has certain political connotations especially when the SP is supporting the center and the Muslim vote has been secured. Now the Congress needs a few Hindu votes as well.

I hope that Taslima's doesn't work up the Muslim fanatics just as Husain's return doesn't work up the Hindu fanatics. But the case for both are different. MF Husain is an Indian citizen while Taslima is a Bangladeshi refugee.

I guess Pouring Rain should visit the Desert now. She had been pouring here in Delhi for the last few days without any respite. The Desert misses Pouring Rain so much. She must show some heart.
